Hi, I'm Harsh.I build reliable software, from the database to the UI.

Full-stack engineer working mostly in C#/.NET and React. I enjoy event-driven architecture, real-time systems and software that keeps working when things go wrong.

OrderService.cs
// events survive a broker outageawait using var tx = await db.BeginTx();db.Orders.Add(order);db.Outbox.Add(OrderPlaced.From(order));await db.SaveChangesAsync();await tx.CommitAsync();// a background worker publishes it later
zero lost events ✓

01 / About

A bit about me.

I'm a software engineer who likes owning things end to end. For the past 2.5 years I've built and run a production platform of four .NET Core services and a React frontend: architecture, features, the database, releases and production support.

What I enjoy most is the quiet side of reliability: systems that don't lose data when a dependency goes down, queries that stay fast as data grows, and tools flexible enough that people can configure them without waiting on a code change.

Outside of that I build projects like ChatNET, a real-time chat app on .NET, SignalR and Redis, and keep my problem-solving sharp with regular algorithm practice.

02 / Projects

Things I've built.

Projects where I take an idea apart and build it from scratch.

  • ChatNET

    In active development

    Real-time chat on .NET 10 + SignalR

Multi-user chat with direct and group conversations, live messaging, presence, read receipts and reconnection catch-up. It scales out across server instances on a Redis backplane, and the integration tests run against real Postgres and Redis.

  • BlockVote

    Blockchain-backed voting system

A voting system that pairs Solidity smart contracts for tamper-evident vote storage with a MERN-stack web app (separate client, server and web3 layers).

Software Developer

Clinical Research Organisation · Hyderabad

2.5 yrs · Present

Sole developer of the company's in-house software platform, four .NET Core services and a React frontend, which I design, build and run end to end.

Build

  • Built product modules that run together or independently, switched by configuration instead of code changes.
  • Designed a form-builder engine that lets non-developers compose multi-step data-capture workflows with validation rules and conditional logic.
  • Built an export pipeline that turns deeply nested, form-based data into clean, analysis-ready datasets.

Architecture

  • Designed an audit service on the transactional outbox pattern, so no event is lost even when the message broker is down.
  • Extended the same delivery guarantee to the browser with a client-side event queue and a central dispatcher.

Operations

  • Shipped 20+ client deployments without dedicated QA or DevOps.
  • Run production on Linux: deployments, releases, incident response and monitoring.
